Happy Hen’s In Norfolk

We were first contacted by Natasha last October, as a super organised maid of honour she wanted to make sure her sisters hen celebrations were unforgettable! Natasha had such an amazing weekend planned to celebrate Tanya’s Hen Do and we just loved setting up for them.

The Hen weekend was hosted at the gorgeous Lancaster Barns in Great Snoring, Norfolk. Honestly if you’re looking for a relaxing UK break I would highly recommend the facilities were great and all in a beautiful setting. The accommodation could sleep up to 12 guests and as the party size was 16 Natasha booked us to provide some extra accommodation space.

The hens started their Saturday off with some relaxing Yoga, hopefully this got them all fresh and ready for the weekends antics. We also delivered flowers from Passion Flowers by Emma Spowage so the hens could get creative and make some stunning flower crowns for guests to create at their leisure on the Saturday afternoon.

On the week leading up to the hen party Natasha and I were watching the weather closely and unfortunately the great British weather as unreliable as ever decided it wanted to rain. We decided to set up our picnic table indoors to be safe, and we think it looked pretty fab! They used this space on the Friday evening for a relaxed grazing table, guests were traveling down from London so Natasha didn’t want anything too formal so guests could take the evening to relax ahead of the busy weekend.

Saturday night was their COACHELLA themed evening which of course we love and our bell tent provided the perfect backdrop for this theme! They enjoyed a delicious three course meal prepared by a local chef and then danced the night away.

When we arrived to collect on the Sunday I asked Natasha if there were many sore heads which apparently wasn’t too bad, however they had stayed up till 4am two nights in a row so it seems our bell tent didn’t have too many hows sleeping. Natasha and her family had decided to book the accommodation for the whole week so they had some more time to enjoy the Norfolk countryside, although it sounds like they probably needed a break after those late nights!
